They are good, tough bullets that are more than adequate for any North American game. They can be but usually are not the most accurate premium bullet out there. They are fine for minute of Elk for reasonable ranges, say up to 400m.
Some rifles just won't shoot them well though so even as expensive as they are, load up enough to see how your rifle shoots them at the ranges you feel comfortable with. Velocity doesn't seem to effect accuracy with them and they open well even at lower speeds. Up close and personal, they can come apart when they hit big bones. But then show me a bullet, other than a solid that doesn't.
