Hi There
I was wandering if anyone has used the 225 gr Swift A frame in the 338 win mag ?
Any input would be great.
Have used Barnes TSX and H 4831 sc with good results just never loaded the A Frame in it.

They are good, tough bullets that are more than adequate for any North American game. They can be but usually are not the most accurate premium bullet out there. They are fine for minute of Elk for reasonable ranges, say up to 400m.

Some rifles just won't shoot them well though so even as expensive as they are, load up enough to see how your rifle shoots them at the ranges you feel comfortable with. Velocity doesn't seem to effect accuracy with them and they open well even at lower speeds. Up close and personal, they can come apart when they hit big bones. But then show me a bullet, other than a solid that doesn't.

I've used these in 458 caliber. Good bullets. Recovered from elk at impact speeds shown -
