I hope you're right—that's how I read it as well. Since there's only range-only shooting in Nova Scotia (other than hunting) that restriction wouldn't affect me. I've read some other interpretations that say the ATT provisions are more like those for the 12.5s and 12.3s—technically available but requiring permission for each visit (and never being granted either).The legislation indicates the 12(9) rifles will be as the 12(6) pistols with respect to ATT. So, I’m under the impression it will be a range queen and not a safe queen. For now, anyway. But, when it comes to gun ownership in this country anything could be just for now.
