There's a gunshow in Lucerne this weekend and Swissarms has a small booth there.

This time I actually remembered to ask when the SAPR will be available and for how much.

The release date for civilians is June/July 2008 (more likely end of year, I think). Price will be around 4'900.- Sfr for the standard version.

I also got a catalogue from a rather big gunshop in Switzerland and they already list the SAPR as SIG (WTF??) SAPR 751LB

SIG SAPR is SIG SG550 in 7,62N or the SG550 (FASS90) is an SIG SG 541 and the SIG - FAMAE SG542 is an SIG SG540 in 7,62N . Many parts are not compatible between SG54x and SG55x
