Swiss Arms - worth the price?

who cares about accuracy? ;) Can you do that with an AR15?

P.S: accuracy is as it is shown on the test target shot at the factory.

Yet another example of Swiss over engineering. Two word for you – Twist Top.;):)

redleg, any pics of such said rifle?

It's the same as any other Black Special, but the target model is a flat top with rail and without the rear diopter sight. Check the photo gallery section under PE 90's, hope this helps.

Here is a photo stolen from NESTER, in the photo gallery section:

I was just thinking... The Swiss rifle CQB is pretty short as it is... could be shot like a handgun, if a person was so inclined I think. Not having shot one myself. what would SiG think about making a flat endplate for the receiver and importing them to Canada as restricted handguns, with matching 10 round handgun magazines? Ya know, kinda like the RRA LAR-15, almost.

Is anyone picking up what I'm putting down? ;)

Sounds great, but unfortunately there is zero likelyhood of Swiss Arms doing other options for us. They are so busy it is almost impossible to get the "standard" production stuff.

Another worthwhile change would be to lengthen the barrel on the carbine. From it's current length of 17.9 (restricted) to 18.6 (non-restriced). Too bad it's not an option.

Swiss Arms is the best you can get for the money and will outshoot others irrespective of price.

From the full length one to the CQB, they are IMHO worth the money and give back equally in return when cared for.

Yeah but weren't you there for them when they had none....

Just an FYI for the people getting excited about the Sniper model, the test target I got with mine shows 10 shots into 6cm at 300m, which is about 0.7 MOA if I've done my math correctly - from a machine rest.

That's good, but I've never come close to it in reality, although it does have a much better trigger pull than the standard rifle.

But I've shot better AR-15s to be honest. I tried a Les Baer AR-15 awhile back and that was definitely more accurate (albeit I wasn't using GP90). I'm sure some of the CLE and JP Enterprises AR-15s are better overall.

It's just the whole rigmarole of phoning them, giving them a spec, waiting for them to build it, etc. Zzzzzz.

The Swiss Arms works out-of-the-box.

A custom Les baer or JP enteprises AR will run you more than a Sig....
While the Sigs aren't cheap, I think the two ARs mentioned above offer even less for more...
