Swiss Family grew little

That said, zero on the quad rail needs to be tested or the whole discussion is semantics.

As you may know I have a B&T handguard on my Black Special - I have never tested it to see if it held zero though, as I assumed it won't.

Let us know what you come up with, as I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this one.:D
If you can test it at longer ranges with some magnification, that would be optimal.

I'd also be interested to know: if per chance it won't hold zero with the T1 on the handguard, what about the other way around?
Can you even mount the magnifier forward of the dot:confused:, and if the dot is holding zero on the receiver, can the magnifier 'float' on the rail, maintaining consistant POI?

Will do so.

I have 200 m to play with here which I think will be adequate for the T1 Micro.

I have no way to really test a dual sight configuration as I have neither the dual sight combo nor the 10mm rail.

But I'll chew that one a bit when I have more of an answer on the quad rail component and the 10mm rail is inbound.

Here is a picture of the two different operation systems between the cqb and the carbine.

Lol. Its funny, because you posted sa photo once of a girl shooting a cqb with an M900.

Wanted that gun ever since dude. (repost the photo if you've got it - I collect good SAN gun photos and that one was pretty iconic)

Here's the pic I posted a long time ago not sure if its the one you're thinking of. Never had a M900, have a TDI vg on it, which I like a lot even if its a little cheap:redface:. I like how its narrow on top but thick in your palm. And I like how its short (which is all the rage now..).

I still have the rooster rail on it, put it on so I could mount the EOtech farther forward which I like (and keeps the sight away form the cocking handle, keeping fingers safe.;) ) the down side is the sight reticle gets smaller the more forward you mount it.

I prefer shooting CQB with the EOtech because of the larger reticle, which I find easier to get on target. But I'm thinking of trying the H1 on it and ditching the rooster rail and getting that 10 mm low rail so i can co-witness and see if I can shoot it longer ranges better with the irons. Do you have the low rail yet? You like? What's the cost on it?

Yeah, that's the pic all right.

Helped me decide that I needed a CQB and a bigger dent in my credit.

Yes. I do occasionally make up my mind on a number of gun purchases on the sole basis of whether they look bad ass in pictures.

Yeah, I think thats pretty wise.

If I can get CW with the irons I'm going to be a very happy lad this winter. My current configuration with a Larue low mount is ALMOST co-witness. Close, but not quite. Not unless you consider a c-hair of the front post sight on the 300m peep to constitute proper co-witness.

I could reduce the height a bit with the relatively dodgy factory Aimpoint mount, but prefer to pursue the 6mm difference of the lower rail.

I'm fishing for a B&T part number on it. I have replied to a few PMs with a direct link to the gunfactory.ch outlet where it is about 215 CHF.

Will post more about it when I can find authoritative info.

I hope Wolverine is picking up on the interest for this product, because it seems that a great many (ok, well at least 5 anyway) people want it.

I am very interested as well.

Took some new photos of new kit. Some good pics. Some crap. What can I say. I'm no photographer.

Wife will help me a bit later.

Anyway, added Magpul XTM rail covers to the Carbine 14.3". Waiting on a stack of Larue IndexClips and stubby grip to show up.

The Surefire Scout light? Can't say enough good about it. Lightweight with high output.

Also added a GG&G Sling thing on rail for front sling attachment.

On the CQB I added a Magpul Sling. Can be run either as a single point or two point sling with rapid 'oh-s**t' free conversion between the two.

Worked for me with no significant shifts at 100m.

I did not test from a bench or at ranges large enough to make big changes, so take that for what its worth. My B&T quad rail mates up quite tightly with a bare minimum of wiggle, but there is NO specific tightening mechanism to adjust so this could easily change over time/temperature/wear.

My money says that a 10mm low rail on top of the receiver would be the ideal long term strategy. Maybe the only one.

Solution? :
I would LOVE to see Rauch Tactical make a top rail refit with tensioning screws ala Surefire M4 rail. Money in hand...

That is a couple of nice rigs you have there Sprint. It makes me want to kick my own a** for selling Unclewalther my Black Target.

Hey Sprint,

Where did you pick up the Scout light? I'm considering one to finish off my Mk18 project and I'd prefer the scout to the older incandescent versions.

Those are awesome looking rifles and the light looks good too...

Up until recently when I just ordered my XCR from Wolverine I haven't had much use or like for black guns, found them to big/heavy for such a tiny cartridge or that they were just to freaking ugly or the cost was more than I could justify for a gun that I could only take to the range.

but the more I look at them the more I want...
