That said, zero on the quad rail needs to be tested or the whole discussion is semantics.
As you may know I have a B&T handguard on my Black Special - I have never tested it to see if it held zero though, as I assumed it won't.
Let us know what you come up with, as I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this one.
If you can test it at longer ranges with some magnification, that would be optimal.
I'd also be interested to know: if per chance it won't hold zero with the T1 on the handguard, what about the other way around?
Can you even mount the magnifier forward of the dot
