T 81 LMG Just pics and no bull

I enjoy shooting mine on the acreage. After the first range session I removed the bipod. It’s too far forward too comfortably shoot off my bench...and it’s gonna end up hacking up the forend or other guns in my safe that it bumps into . Much nicer without the weight too. Point of impact changes a few inches also between shooting off the bipod or on sand bags. Off the bipod slightly flexes the barrel so it shoots a wee bit higher. Don’t have a regular 81 but for plinking you can only benefit from the LMG’s heavier barrel and longer sight radius. For a milarm the trigger isn’t too bad. Totally satisfied with my LMG .

How are the LMG owners liking them? Picked one up and near instantly regretted selling my folder.

Good to see these in the hands of dealers at non inflated costs.

Totally happy with mine, a few hundreds of Russian and Czech surplus down the pipe so far. Now I'm waiting to add that long promised muzzle break and scope mount to it to make it even better :)

Bring more in, if they aren't making rifle variants then I'd rather they bought in LMGs where we can:

- take off the carry handle and bipod
- put a rifle butt stock on
- shorten the barrel (I think, check the legality of this)

Which is way better than no choice at all

They've already stopped producing the rifle variant, at some point the LMG will no longer be produced and the rifle + LMG prices will keep on soaring higher and higher as yet another one of our semi-auto NRs falls off the list

ah, not sure but I have to ask if this is meant as joke cause that rifle already exists.

Since the LMG are plenty available, shaping the ugly stock, taking off the bipod, the carry handle and making the barrel look like a 81sa with the rings and muzzle brake.

Damn, you turned the Red Rifle Black ! :) Looks great! Is that a Magpul Zhukov pistol grip to go with the Zhukov folding stock? Is the pic-rail forend from a VZ? The foregrip really completes the rifle, and would make it more handy for offhand firing

You are right. VZ pistol grip, magpul zhukov folding stock and AK yugo quadrail
