T/C singleshots

You register it as the type of firearm you bought it as. If you buy a 12 ga Encore you register it as a shotgun. If it was a .338, it's a rifle. What barrels you put on it later has no bearing as long as the serial number matches the certificate.

What type is assigned when you buy both barrels at the same time with the frame?

Whatever it was imported into Canada with attached to the frame. If in doubt, call it a single shot rifle. But if you are buying it from a gun shop, it will already be registered so it's kind of a moot point anyhow. If you import one yourself, then it's classified as whatever barrel it came with.

You are really making way more out of this than you need to.

you buy it as a complete rifle new it dosnt come with purchacing a frame and ading barrels it comes as a complete unit and who cares what barrels you order with it as stated earlier how the reg card will look and mine looks just like that so obviously no one gave a rats behind if I bought more barrels for it the serial number is on the action right under the hammer NOT the barrel
