T2 Garand - Part 1

I stopped dealing with Marstar long ago, primarily because of Johns defensive nature. He doesn't seem to have a level headed bone in his body. That is unfortunate, because I am sure the bring in some fine stuff. But on principal alone I'd rather deal with top notch service providers like Ryan Harriman(SFRC), John Hipwell(wolverine), Travis at JoBrookOutdoors, and the Questar crew. All great experiences, and all get my business moving forward. That said, I do hope this gets resolved without to much drama. John may not deserve that, but his customers certainly do.

I just received an order from Ellwood Epps and decided to return the items because they were misidentified. No issues with quality at all. No if, ands, or buts about it...just a helpful email from Epps promising a full refund incl 2 way shipping costs based on the original bill of sale and the CPost receipt for the return shipment. Altho I was a bit disappointed with the purchase, that's great customer service and good PR, as evidenced by the fact that I'm telling others about it. I've dealt with Epps for many years and was always happy with my dealings.

Nearly 1,000 posts and that's the one John chooses to respond to. In-fecking-credible. I'd be completely amazed if I hadn't half-expected it.

I had a feeling that would be the one to put him over the edge lol.
NOBODY CAN MAKE BULL#### UP ABOUT THESE RIFLES EXCEPT ME JOHNONE! I PAID FOR THEM, I CAN LIE ABOUT THEIR PROVENANCE AND SAFETY AS MUCH AS I DAMN WELL PLEASE!

I ran into an order problem with Select Shooting Supplies, they had misrepresented an item. Had no problem trying to make it right, and even paid for return shipping when it didn't work out. I would have zero problems dealing with Select Shooters (Dean) again because they had great PR and customer service. But reading from this and the other threads. Marstar is definitely off my list now. Sad because they do have some great items from time to time.

ZDRAGUNOV;
I have never heard anything so absurd in all my life.
I Challenge you to prove me wrong....I say you are a liar

You are propagating false information, you have absolutely no knowledge
of what we purchased and from whom we purchased.

If I am wrong and you can provide confirmation of your statements I will pay you $1,000.
on the other hand if we don't see your proof we will assume you are,in fact, a blatant liar
and would expect you to donate $1,000. to the CSSA, how about it big mouth ?
John

Will you refund return shipping of the rifles?

Try not toget the thread locked. Im interested to see how he handles this. I have money and he has something i want but if he gets to treart customers with disrespect on the forums and wont answer relevent questions for the products he sells then i will be shopping at different places untill this pans out.

I have been biting my tongue and swallowing blood as I have followed this thread.

Our economy is more and more moving to internet shopping. Buying a new Remington rifle is easy. Both sides know what they are selling/buying. No need to fondle and inspect the gun first.

But buying a used gun is a bit different. I recently sold a fellow an old military collectable rifle that I had never shot. The next day he sent me a picture of a crack in the barrel. It was under the front sight sleeve and almost invisible. These things happen. I returned his money and expect to get the rifle back. (Anyone want a STG44?)

For a business to prosper, selling through a digital store, the customers have to feel comfortable about paying before they see the goods. It was part of the claim to fame of Eaton's. "Full satisfaction or money refunded."

Marstar advertises a good guarantee. If it is honoured, that is good business. But it has to be backed by ethical practices. The guarantee can't mean "If you catch us cheating we will refund most of your money."

I have bought a number of guns from Marstar. good guns, good price, good service. I posted a picture here of one of my guns and John notice the stock was cracked and he mailed me a new one. Fabulous service. Made me a believer.

Until now. At best he looks negligent for shipping junk.

Johnone,

Did I touch a nerve? Could you tell me what was a lie?? I lied about wanting to buy M1 receivers from Tradeex? Or did I lie about calling them and asking them about what happened to them? Did I lie about what they told me, that a wholesaler bought them all up? The last one was an assumption when innocently I made the connection between your scam and the 200 receivers sold to a mysterious seller, that's all.. The only liar here is you my friend..:)) Have a good day.

Why don't you use that extra $1000 you have laying around to honour your word and refund people's shipping like you claimed you would in this very thread?

Now THAT would be worth BOLD text.

Johnone,

Are you willing to donate 100$/fake T2 Garand to CSSA?
How much are you willing to donate for a lost eye or missing fingers for CSSA? Just wondering??

If folks gets hurt using these fakes, I think john1 will be donating Marstar, If that isn't enough maybe art work, The cars even the house.

John

I called you out on your fake SVT's, and told you to take pictures of one rifle with a notch, which you couldn't do. That $1000 you offered to a firearms org out of your pocket was safe, as long as you ignored my post, right?

You've screwed up BIG on numerous occasions, and this is the best you can do? You are pathetic John. Answer these peoples questions.

why is it so hard to prove the origins of your rifles john ... i mean , when you bough them you had to have some kind of 'warranty' (ironclad!) as they were what they were suppose to be?

all this defensive talking pretty much tell us that you lie.

you should have ZERO problem proving the origins of these rifles.

there (IMO) only 2 explanation to this.

1: You have decided to made cheap copies to turn a big profit fast OR
2: you got ripped off by your supplier

now for those ground lugs ... how could you have no seen that? ...

it does smell fishy in here ... don't you think?
