T97 barrel issue AND NRR WISHLIST!!!

As end of 2013 quickly approaching I am curious to know what is NRR current status. Does the manufacturing started?

Ill bet no other military/ tactical weapons get classified, even if they are non restricted. Since they cant get blaney to ban them theyll just never let them through.
 
Flat top and left hand or changeable to right hand charge handle, paddle mag release out the front like tavor or back that you can hit easily with your support hand, revised lower with tri-railed hand guard for mounting grips/flashlight etc. ability to use AR grips, flash hiders and brakes would be nice as well, and an adjustable telescopic but stock to while were at it, why not. Basically re design the whole stock and furniture, keep the internals
 
:rolleyes: I'm sure the chinese will retool the entire gun and still sell it for a decent wholesale price to canam...... they'd be far better off focusing on the type 81 or type 03, if either one gets in they could easily out sell the type 97.

I hope, wish but from previous posts Canam will keep the preorder price of $850 on the T97NRR even if they sell at a lose! The new shipment of M-14's will be at the new pricing. And from what I understand any new Norinco ammo even if manufactured will be at a price equal to U.S. ammo? Unless there are warehouses full of ammo in China? We have seen the last of cheap Chinese guns and ammo??

Yeah the type 81 would be an excellent performer sales wise in my opinion.

You have a point. Just slap on the bayonet mount on the Type 97 and I'd be happy, that's the main think keeping me from jumping the gun on a Type 97NSR
 
T97 NRR alterations summary ?

I was just wondering if you could give us a hint as to the alterations to or modifications that are being made to the design of the rifle. I think it would be a very nice have something to think about while we wait for the rifles. Really hoping mag release and barrel chroming issues and maybe fire selector relocate could be in the cards!:D

In short, you're asking for the Type 97-1. Canadaammo already says they can't get the Type 97-1. I'd be happy with a threaded barrel and a bayonet mount so it'd be the same model being used by South East Asian special forces+possibly Chinese PMCs (only 97 confirmed not 97A) =P
