I don't think any of these are in the same competition field as the FTU. Way different league.

It does look pretty good now that it is actually finished.

How good is the cheek weld now? Do you get proper cheek weld, or is the optic still high enough that cheek weld is light or improper?

looking forward to how it holds zero, and also curious as to how long the install took.

With a low optic like the TRS-25, the cheekweld is perfect. I had to run the riser (above) before to get a good weld on the carry handle.

My install took a bit under an hour. A lot of that had to do with me cutting a fair ways above the cross braces on the sight posts. I wanted to be sure I wasn't too low. This resulted in a bunch of filing and sanding to get the posts flush with the horizontal cross-braces. I also had to paint in my garage which was about 1 degree C, used a hair dryer to speed up the paint drying - I'd recommend doing the cutting and painting beforehand and just letting it dry overnight. I was not patient enough to do this :)

...Niice! .. Now anyone got an easy DIY for an Ambi. mag release? Or any third party options yet? Then it would almost be perfect!

P.S what kind of paint do you use?

Cheerz .. ~

I have some design ideas, unfortunately I don't have the resources to build a prototype at the moment. But I am working on it.
