I just bought a t97 off the EE still waiting for it to arrive and was doing some reading on the rifle people say they have feeding issues and you might have to polish the feed Ramps has any one heard of this thanks

Might have to actually file and polish in some feed paths. Mine loved to hammer the projectiles back into the case so far the powder can fall out around it. I don't want to know what would happen if one of those made it into the chamber and I pulled the trigger.

mine was having feed issues until i filed out the feed ramp creating a dip in it to kind of steer the ammo into the chamber. it feeds very reliably now. some people dont seem to have any problems at all tho, test your rifle out first before filing it

Yes, they are designed to load FMJ.
Any kind of open tip or soft point projectiles on my old one would smash back into the case as far as it would go!
You can round the very bottom of the ramp slightly with a small flat file. Don't change the angle of the ramp too drastically or you may find them feeding up too sharply and stovepiping up into the top of the chamber. After I did this it worked fine with any ammunition.

Best bet would be to file a little, test it, file a little more, test it etc until you have taken off just enough to make it work.
You can't put metal back on....

i can say i have 2 T97s and the first one i had iv got about 3000 rounds through it and i havent cleaned or polished anything since day 1 no issues yet (well except being picky on mags) :)

Mine did(pushing the round back into the shell). Seemed to be more caused by the mag that came with it. But, after a couple hundred rounds it seems to have worked itself in and now no problems.

Mine had that issue too. I was using Norinco 5.56 (brass) with KCI ar mag. However, when I was using Pmags(gen2&3), t97 factory mags, and LAR-15 mags, it did not happen (yet).
BTW my VZ58 (223) had same issue last year. I wonder if all of striker-fired guns have this issue (that include QBZ-95/T97 family, VZ58 family and VSS Vintorez)

I used to have lots of feeding issues, i just oiled it up a bit more than usual and they went away for a couple months. Didn't have to do any filing. I guess every gun is different though.

No feed issues from mine either. I did file the magazine well a bit to allow for proper fitting of LAR-15 and polymer mags though...

Mine is running great with all kind of mags but I only shot Barnaul fmj yet. But yeah, there's detailed pics of what to do in the 97 dedicated thread if you need to Grind/polish it.
