I shot a T97 yesterday and wouldn't change it. It's a cheap Chinese rifle that seems to work well the way it is. Why mess it up? You may end up hacking up the factory barrel to get the extension off it and then not being able to get it to work with the blackout then having $2000+ into a Chinese paperweight. It's not like you can just order parts for one like an AR.
