That has been my experience as well on accuracy, but cycling and ejecting wise, norinco 5.56 forms a neat little pile of brass at my 4:30 through my 14.5" LMT. Kinda neat.

I was finally able to take my type 97 to the range after having it for a week. I forgot my targets and my range bag so I just fooled around with it. It was hitting way high and way right. I put 200 rounds through it and it ran flawlessly. Wil need to bevel the mag well and come up with an ambi mag release. Overall I really like it and the trigger pull is much like a CZ858.
And to be honest, I like it better than I liked my tavor.
