T97 picture thread

For those that own the rifle, how is the quality? How greasy was it when you got it? One member said the brass was chewed up from ejection. Trigger pull weight/creepiness/crisp? Did it come with a poorly translated manual that talked about better destroying power? How is the balance (front heavy etc.)?

Will be shooting mine tomorrow but for quality: the bolt rocks smooth, everything is tight and is better quality than I expected. Mine was pretty greasy on the outside. Can't comment on the brass yet, the trigger pull doesnt feel heavy but there is alot of creep. The manual is definitely a good read, made me laugh. and it is rear heavy which is not noticeable when against your shoulder

It's not pretty but the mechanicals look simple and robust, should be highly reliable. It was coated in light oil. When I stripped it, I wiped it lightly and took it to the range. 4lbs, mushy and creepy, long travel. Travel can probably be shortened by drlling the tie rod a bit closer, but I won't try that without spares on hand lol The manual was written by an ESLer but it's in pretty decent English. Was mostly focusing on the sections dealing with the mechanicals, but didn't come across any of the funny stuff :( I wish someone'd scan a CQA manual to PDF and post it up for entertainment. Very well balanced, handles quite nicely. Just to reeiterate the note I posted elsewhere.. It was chewing brass on BOTH settings 1 and 2. 0 is bolt-action.

Just got mine. Two of them.quality is good. a lot better than M14 and CQA.But can't compair with Tavor.Tavor a lot better quality .Two of mine .one is a lot of oil outside . the other is dry. no need to clean in and out. the color is one look black than the other..Trigger pull weight about 4-5 lbs. better than Tavor. P-mag can't work . only GI mag work.mag change is suck. overall is good.
but Tavor is hand down . for $ 1000 can't go wrong. is best price Rifle on the years.

I realize there's a million of these threads but for those sitting on the fence deciding whether or not to buy one I thought a little comparison of its operating system would grab your attention.
