And if your gun is only 99.9% reliable? How is that gonna effect your range trips, bush shooting or hunting? Your life isn't on the line when it comes to the gun and its not gonna work 100% of the time, always either. Nothing does.
User error WILL cause you to make a mistake with your Tavor (or any gun) before the gun itself give you issues if you run it clean and with good ammo.
I cannot accept the Tavor because...1) ####ty trigger, 2) the "meh" accuracy using standard ball ammo and 3) the price. Even IF they gun somehow could NEVER muck up and become unreliable those issues make (even a SUPER reliable gun!) not very fun to use.
Price alone...doesn't bother me if it performs, I own a Swiss Arms and a HK MR 308, both very $$$ but both beat out the Tavor in every way expect compactness...but I am not trying to hide them under a coat so I am not too worried
