T97FTU vs x X95 accuracy

Trying to pick one of these two guns based on accuracy is like trying to pick between a Ford and a GMC truck based on Nürburgring lap time.

Tongue in cheek.

Between my Tar-21 and T97, I'd say the Tavor shoots better. I understand that the X95 is less accurate still, but no personal experience to back this up.

The T97 is a fun, more budget friendly gun to shoot, but it is no Tavor. Throws brass two towns over, and the last time I was at the range I had a misfeed--when I safed and cleared the T97, I poured powder out of the magazine. Somehow it sheared the bullet from the cartridge on feeding. Was Norinco ammo, so who knows, but was the first time that has happened to me. I've only been shooting the Tavor for a couple of weeks, but it shoots flawlessly after 400 rounds of mixed quality.

got both tar and x95--shoots 2 moa from both or sometimes better off a bench supported--had 97 previously---not fond of it for number of reasons

It really doesn't matter, what answers you get from people when it comes to the T97. The problem with the T97 is that the QC is pretty much non existent so every one will be different and while one person may have a reliable rifle that feeds from every magazine the next one off the assembly line could be a jam-o-matic with a gas port and a half and will only feed from two out of twenty magazines.
Comparing the T97 to a Tavor or X95 is like comparing a KIA to a Lexus.
Neither rifle was designed to be an accurate rifle and both excel in CQB type scenarios where quick handling and compact size are of primary concern.
More reasons I've never owned a T97, there is no warranty other than what the retailer decides to give, there is also no parts support unless someone takes a functioning rifle and breaks it down for parts which wouldn't be cost effective since there is probably only a couple parts that will break which means a bunch of parts left over that no one wants to buy.
The only department where the T97 will beat the X95 is initial cost but you really do get what you pay for when it comes to Chinese rifles that were built by child slave labor.

Some people will say that they have a T97 that shoots great and is reliable but as I mentioned earlier you could easily end up being the guy that gets the one that won't fit any magazines without modifying them or the one that jams every third round.
I can think of a lot better places to drop $1200, especially now that you can pick up a used Tavor for under $2000 and have a rifle that will last for years and that you can buy parts for if needed.

I own several of both (tar21/t97nsr). They are quite different, like comparing a vz58 and an ak47. The vz is better made, but both do about the same job. Price and ergonomics are the biggest differences. Accuracy is similar.

The T97 was by far the worst POS I have ever owned. Yes it was a bit more accurate than my Tavor, But it failed at everything else...lol.
