Between my Tar-21 and T97, I'd say the Tavor shoots better. I understand that the X95 is less accurate still, but no personal experience to back this up.
The T97 is a fun, more budget friendly gun to shoot, but it is no Tavor. Throws brass two towns over, and the last time I was at the range I had a misfeed--when I safed and cleared the T97, I poured powder out of the magazine. Somehow it sheared the bullet from the cartridge on feeding. Was Norinco ammo, so who knows, but was the first time that has happened to me. I've only been shooting the Tavor for a couple of weeks, but it shoots flawlessly after 400 rounds of mixed quality.
Trying to pick one of these two guns based on accuracy is like trying to pick between a Ford and a GMC truck based on Nürburgring lap time.
Tongue in cheek.

So we've gone backwards with the X95...?He said X95, way worse then the Tar-21 in accuracy by all accounts.
See the MAC reviews.
It has enough quirks that it's really hard to get excited over, namely magazine limitations.you want the FS 2000.

This. Had one, was neat to look at but it got sold to buy my MH.
Might get another for the collection some day, but not at the $4k for a restricted price I on the ee. Probably get one out of the US.
It's a Norinco. Honestly, save up a bit more and get a used TAR-21 because some of them are going for an absolute theft right now.The T97 was by far the worst POS I have ever owned. Yes it was a bit more accurate than my Tavor, But it failed at everything else...lol.
If your budget is what's holding you back on a Tavor or X95 try one of these

I've never tried one but it has to be better than a Norinco
