T97NSR accuracy....

I use cheap spam can ammo in my Nork m4 10.5 barrel and in my T97. Both open sight. My eyes are crapy. I shoot the same accuracy with either rifle. Not very scientific but there ya go. I can ring a 10x10 plate @100 yards no problem. I am not a precision shooter.

I had crap results with Norinco ball .223 and the T97 - esp at 100M. I've seen folks post much better results with half decent ammo.
My 1:9 AR groups pretty well with Norinco, but the T97 hated it.

Hi guys for those who own the T97NSR, what is your accuracy at 50yards or 100yards?

I use mine with a trs25 3 moa red dot and at 50 yards the spread is around 10cm, is this normal or I am just a bad shooter?

I have the same T97,TRS25 set up as you and use nothing but Norinco yellow box ammo in the 1600 rd case. No reason to shoot anything else. From the bench I am consistently on as 11x8.5 piece of computer paper at 100 metres. Even after several back to back magazines. At 200 meters it does open up a fair amount. Can't wait to try it with a decent scope.

That's what I meant by "crap".
My SR556 will group around 2.5" @ 100m even with the norinco ammo.

Try some federal and watch your groups shrink way down.
