it wont unless its a really old 20 - back from when they were made on the same full-sized 12ga receiver.
for a while now Remington has been making their 20 gauges on a smaller receiver (same size as the 7600 receiver) - its significantly narrower than the 12 gauge receiver and there is no way the 12 gauge knoxx would fit without an adapter.
knoxx does make 20 gauge stocks as you can see on my 20 gauge... what im trying to say is if i had to do it a second time, rather than buy a 20-gauge only stock i would simply make a 12>20 gauge stock adapter out of a slingplate. this way all my 12 and 20 gauge stocks stay interchangeable and i could just buy the 12 gauge stock for compatibility with all my guns.
