Tacticool Levergun Pic Thread

Well I ordered a Rossi R95. Now trying to decide if I wnat to go with the MI stock / hand guard or the RPP set. I have handeled the MI r95 stock and it is pretty nice and I prefer the profile of the MI handguard, however I have a RPP stock arriving for my S&W today so maybe once I have handeled that I will decide.

I like the RPP stock but I find the handguard too square/blocky…that’s why I went with the Midwest…but RPP has some awesome accessories.

Strange behaviour for a grown man.
Why is it strange, my opinion of these tactical super ninja guns is that they are barf worthy.

I support your right to turn fine firearms into complete abominations, but it's not my style at all.

Just as one can post their creation on a public forum looking for praise and accolades they must also be prepared for those of us that dislike their creations.

It's strange because your not satisfied with stating you don't like them, you have to say so repeatedly and with great vitriol. This isn't a thread looking for praise or accolades, its a thread where those who do appreciate tacticool lever guns can post pictures of their firearms and discuss them. Do you go to the furry friends thread and tell others how much you dislike their pets? What is your endgame? You don't like them and have said so, stop filling up the thread with your hate. Get over it and move on.

Apples and oranges pets are people's best friends and companions, Bubba modified levers are fair game.
Vitriol and hate are strong words I'd tend nit to use.
Ugly looking guns is as strong as I'd go.

You carry on your white knighting though.

"Barfworthy", "abominations" and then pictures of the same, is as strong as you went. You weren't happy with a simple "not for me, I find them ugly".

You sure spend lots of time on a thread looking at guns you know you are not going to like.

If you think that's strong, your weak
Bizarre, it's like you've forgotten your own posts. YOU said you had not used anything 'stronger' than ugly, and when shown that wasn't accurate, your retort is to call me weak. Take consolation though, your hopes to derail this thread have succeeded.

Back on topic.
Received my RPP order today. Along with some other goodies and some parts I had in the parts bin.
Pretty happy with the RPP stock. I like the adjustability of it. But over all I think the MI is probably better value. With the MI you get an adjustable cheek riser and you have mlok slots and the QD socket already available. With the RPP you have to order the QD/Mlok panel seperate, same with the cheek riser. The MI is $269usd and the RPP is $265 usd plus $20 for the riser and $20 for the mlok/QD plate.

The RPP is incredibly well made and very nice.

Pirate604, what stock can you shoulder faster in my book is the right choice. I do a lot of CAS shooting with an 1894c and the wood has very little finish with a leather butt cover. I find the smooth surfaces allow me to bring the rifle to shoulder very quickly and reload. I like this tactical thing but are you finding an advantage? Cycling a lever action is a sloppy sort of thing that needs finesse…I would very much like to see someone show up with one of these at a CAS match some time and give one a go. Also did a little looking these are some very expensive rigs after buying the guns.

Had a little laugh with a buddy today at a local CAS match how we toss our rifles on the table, put them on metal racks and work them like hell. Just a tip if you see a used cowboy gun for sale walk away we beat on them. I probably have half the value of my 1894 in terms of back up parts on hand. I Probably put 1000 rounds a year through mine and its been running stages for 20 years.
