Talk me into buying a Swiss Arms

I own a Classic Green (with factory iron sight) and Black Special Target (with Nightforce 2.5x10 scope). Both of my rifles have seen lots of use and never had one problem with FTF or FTE. I purchased an XCR for my collection, but sold it after just a few months. The Swiss Arms rifle spoiled me and I soon realized I would rather shoot them than the XCR. There is one downside that no one has mentioned yet. The SA does not have a free floating barrel design. POI changes significantly depending on shots from bipod and off-hand. I didnt notice the POI changes until my round count was high (4000+). But it isnt designed for benchrest hole punching so it doesn't matter.

Thought I'd like to switch to hk, bought the mr308 to replace the san. Couldn't get rid of the mr fast enough. We have the choice of buying any weapon system we like And have gone with the San in 223 and 308. Nothing better out there period for utter reliability in harsh conditions.

For range fun there are better options that are more accurate, but for flat out life dependancy the San leads the pack. Top it with an s&b and you simply have the best.

Once the LGR is gone (Fingers Crossed) I'll be the first to eat crow and buy a Black Special with a NEA lower. Yeah ya I know, but I want a military rifle that I can back pack in the bush and most of all be free from all govt confiscation. Obviously I'd prefer an AR with such freedoms but that is a pipe dream and I sure as hell wont bother with an XCR.

Heres to freedom,

Can I just ask who "we" is here? Not because I disagree with the conclusions...just curious.

I have had a swiss Classic Green rifle for about 5 years now.

Its still one of my NEVER sell rifles. I don't have many rifles that I wouldnt sell.

PLUS,

I'd absolutely love to get my hands on a:

SAPR
&
Classic Green Carbine

I haved a set of B&T rails on mine. The only thing that touches the barrel except the gas group. Would this be considered free floating?

I think the idea of a Swiss Arms User Group is a good idea.

The rail does not float the barrel.

To Smakdaddy: Don't go into a swiss arms with high hopes it will be as accurate as that sweet DCM rifle you have/had...it won't be, but worth it even if only to test drive it for a time.
