Talk me out of a 7mm-08AI

Be interesting to see the chamber dims and throat on Jarrett's gun. Very likely all max dim's, seated it out as far as he can get it. He has the means to play with all of that.

It depends on how knowledgeable prospective buyers are. If you're reloading it makes no difference cost wise if you aren't the performance of the non-AI cartridge is pretty close to what it would be in a standard chamber.

140's @ 2950 fps from a 22" 7-08 Ackley , using Varget, which is not a high velocity/low pressure powder. 70,000+ PSI will make this speed. A sharp shoulder and minimal body taper can mask traditional pressure signs. The primer pockets will not lie, so you'll know sooner than later
