One is a over travel screw, one has a spring on it, but really doesn’t do anything unless you want to increase pull weight. The earliest #1 triggers had a third screw hidden inside the action which was sear engagement but Ruger removed it many many years ago.

Moyers was a copy of the original Ruger design.

That is what I had heard and never played with those screws… I got told to leave them alone!
