There are only so many Tanfoglio Stock IIs out there so opinions you get will generally be uninformed ...
The problem is there is nowhere to try both and compare, its kind of a leep of faith. I've bought too many guns and put them on EE a couple of weeks after because I dont like them. I want a good solid 9mm with a great trigger and that is well built

CZ 85 Combat - well built, reliable with a great trigger properly sprung. Both the Shadow and Stock 11 are great guns for IPSC Production but some find them heavier they need be for what the owners intend to use the gun for. the 85 Combat works great in SSP and ESP Divsions of IDPA. I guess it all depends on what you intend to do with the gun and what your expectations are.
CZ Shadow - well built, reliable with a great trigger. A great gun for IPSC Production and after some weight less great for SSP and ESP in IDPA.
Tanfoglio Stock 11 - well built, reliable with a great trigger. A great gun for IPSC Production. Because it has a cone barrel not legal for IDPA.
STI Trojan - well built, reliable with a great trigger. Not legal for IPSC Production but works great in ESP Division in IDPA.
Do you see a pattern developing here.
There you go all you got to do is decide which one you like and plunk down your money. Have fun.

We've all read the 100 word reviews. It is something completely different to get multiple detailed hi-res images or better yet, have one in your hand.
I think you missed the point of my post.

Forgive my ignorance but why is the STI Trojan no legal for IPSC production? Isn't it a production pistol?
In Production div. one has to start in DA for the first shot of the stage and Trojan is SA only pistol.
