ScottnotianSergeantRating:#3.0/5 this site453#posts this siteTangent Theta... some awesome sauce and echoes of the pastTuesday at 6:45 PMSo I just received my 5-25 G2XR TT. #Firstly, thanks to Greg at#PrimalRights.com, a gent and someone very enjoyable to speak with on these matters.Opening the very well presented box I had a sense of deja vu of when I opened my first Premier scope many years ago... it's a beast. A proper beast. Similarly, the diopter lock was gorilla tight, but once loosened, it all became Tangent Theta. #The turrets are clear, crisp ALIGNED TO THAT THINGY ON THE SCOPE BODY that caused so many online aneurysms from Greg's prototype version...On visual inspection, it's a well built product. #I've only hand held it and peered through it momentarily before it had to be put away but looking at the G2XR reticle it was a sense of relief. Clean, clear, continuos cross hairs. No gaps, blips, squiggles. #Just a simple, reticle with a right amount of Season's Greetings (Xmas tree). On first glance, the eye box was not Hensoldt nice, but then, nothing is. However, putting myself behind a Kahles 624i Gen3 neither is that. #Given what I've experienced so far, I'm happy with the TT, especially with the reticle.Optically, this thing is BRIGHT. wow. I've not dialed in the diopter properly so can't comment on resolution, but boy can it peer into the shadows.#My DTA's being worked on for a couple of things so the field report will have to wait but I'm eager to get cranking on the turrets for dope and testing and play with that zero-stop. #I should have a .308 in a 16" and 6.5CM in 26" to go from one to the other and we'll see how I get along with my optic equivalent of Rolls Royce.
