Does not approve doesn't say can't...

This is true. He did not say that clubs are not allowed to use explosive targets. It would be nice if the cross-dressing moron would give us a little more information. After all, that is why they pay him the big bucks.

For folks wanting to use it at Victoria Fish & Game on the Island.....ferget it. The anal range nazi's won't let
'er fly....especially during the summer Fire Season. They also ban the use of steel core milsurp ammo because
of hot cores setting fires in the grass behind the target butts.:(

I'm not sure if you're saying this sarcastically or not; but those all read as valid concerns. If the regular activity of the club becomes a fire hazard, the local Fire Marshal can revoke the business license with out so much as breaking a sweat.

Its his job to be vague, that way you have enough rope to hang yourself. and if you don’t do it properly , you will have a couple years in the court room thinking about your lawyer bill, and his ass is covered as he warned us.

For everyone that is worried about fire hazard when we shot off our 1/2 pounders there was no flame that we could see! But you should always make sure that the area is safe just like you would for anything else! Your not going to have a bonfire when there are fire restrictions on! Common sense.

That being said you would have to be a complete moron to set one of these things off at a range! The shrapnel and debris that these things throw off is to much. We were the recommended 100yards away from the target and it was still throwing stuff past us.

BUT hell yes we ordered some more from Marstar and we are looking forward to getting some more to play with!

Why wait? 10 x 1lb targets for $100 is $10/lb and 30 x 1/4lb targets is $12/lb. Just buy the 10 lb case and divide each target into 4 smaller ones and end up with 40 x 1/4lb targets :)

Yes but I will have to find 40 little containers.
This comes already in its own 1/4 container so I don't mind paying a bit more.
Plus I already have 10 1lb containers. They make a big boom.

The memo doesn't explicitly state we cannot use exploding targets at certified ranges. It only says the CFO doesn't approve the use of exploding targets. There is no law pertaining to targets. Ranges have their own rules, and usually state "paper targets only."

Where's the memo about how the CFO doesn't approve of foul language at ranges..

I've never seen anyone charged "under memo" either.
