Tapco 20rd SKS

No.

That typical Canadian gun owner attitude is why we pay out the ass for parts that are cheap in the U.S.

We only get what we demand.

I'd pay $30, maybe $40.

It boils down to Supply and Demand. As long as there are people are willing to pay 70 bucks for the few 5/20s out there, that will be the market price. Free economy...applies to SKS magazines, gasoline, real estate and everything else that we sell and buy.

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!! If your gonna start making sense around here your gonna get banned!!!!! :D:D

Anyhoo, the majority will pay 55+ so that is the price they are gonna stay at.

I did. Of course for you I'll charge $140.00 each plus shipping, but just for you. Don't tell anyone I'm giving you a deal or everyone will want one ;)

I think if you took a long hard look you'd find it impossible to make a buck at that price. There's a lot involved and you spend a lot of your valuable time selling off a few off these things.

Stripper clips are un-cool!:D No offence. Did you mean "how did you come out with that price"?

Some are willing to pay 400 bucks for their SKS.
Many have paid and will continue to pay less than that, so they have leftover cash to buy 70 buck Tapcos.

IMO, the 5/20 Tapco has the Look Cool Factor, and the mag works great as well.

Too bad I missed out on the genuinely cool 399 buck M-14s at Marstar. Johnone found a few crates "lost" in his warehouse and blew them out exclusively to CGNners last week. Gone in sixty seconds. I digress, but got too engrossed in Looking Cool.

Don't feel to bad on not getting in on the 399 deal. If you notice on this forum and others the price of the Norinco M14/305 are coming down, there is a glut of them on the market. I also think at a Buck a Bang at todays ammo prices that is why there is a lot of them for sale.

You're right. Now I recall why I sold my Springfield Armory M1A, surplus ammo was like 50 cents a pop, in 2004.

There, I feel better already.

Buck a bang, I am paying 16 bucks a box for winchester ammo, and if you reload that almost halfs the price, feelin bad again??? lol I love my norc all done up but if I could get my hands on a 180b...oooooooooo

Back on subject, I like soup and 5/20 tapco's!!!!!!!:D

No matter what way I look at it, I paid $95 for my Tapco stock about a year ago. There is no way I can justify spending $70 for a mag that retails for $16 in the U.S.

Ya it is getting nuts when people want 500-650 for an SKS-D!!!Buy a russian for 249 and 3 tapco's and still have ammo money!

If you look closely, it's around $400 plus the value of the magazines, BUT, that stuff is Chinese, better spend your money on a CZ-858, plenty of mags around for that one and much nicer to shoot too.

Nope, I have to drive down, pin them, bring them over with my paper work and canadian regulations in case the border guy has no clue what he is talking about. I got hung up for 3 hours one day and I had to point out the regulation in his book for him. That is why I have not gone for some time, people think all the time and effort is worth nothing. I had people bashing me for 55 buck selling fee.

congratulations would you like a medal I can also say they killed Jesus on the Cross its called Freedom of speach!

and for 140 each i can drive down south and get them myself or maybe i should bring some in and charge much less and put that 70$ to shame

I can see 40 $ being a fair price maybe even 50 on a rainy day but 70$

He is not the only guy selling mags on the EE so if people don't like DJ's price then keep your money and wait till something else comes up. I have sold a mag to a guy once for 70 bucks but the shipping to his location was stupid expensive. Supply and demand, if the price was way out of line he would not have sold 1, but also on the other side he has not sold out either.

Example:
I have a line on a nice old .22 but the guy want 600 bucks, i ahve made a counter offer to try to bring it to a reasonable price. The market on this gun is actually 400 bucks but he has a couple extras but the 200 dollar overage is still too much so I countered. If he says no then I walk away, plain and simple.
