The Svt sells for too much to be widely distributed in North America like Mosin or SKS. I don't think you'll see a tacticool stock soon.

Thankfully, looking "kick ass" was not a top priority for soviet designers. I don't think a metal stock would improve the way a svt handles or shoots.

I apologize but i will be rude, why there's always silly threads about tacticooling milsurp and/or red rifle?? There's enough aftermarket crap for the SKS, no need more for a SVT..... What's next? Tapco stock for FN49? or the VZ52/57?? If someone ever produce useless tacticool crap for SVT(wich is very unlikely to happen, thanks) i will hate him for the rest of my life,i swear! If you absolutely want an alternate stock, you could ask that guy who did the custom SVD type stock for advice.

go buy a SKS .. i wish people knew how much SVT40s sell for down south and they might value them more here as collector rifles , its over 1k last time i checked ... they have not been able to import them for awhile because of 922r regulations

Yet again this disturbing trend on CGN where people care more about how their gun looks than how it shoots .. Firearms are not jewelry , they are a tool.. or a piece of history worth preserving in this case .. I just always get the vibe on forums that people treat firearms ownership like a fashion show.. If you ever going to trust your life to your firearm that way of thinking can get you killed .. im a huge believer in function over form ..
