Anyone know where I can buy a Taurus Raging Bull series revolver here in Canada?

Wanstalls only has the judge right now. I'm more interested in the .44mag models. Or, if I go with the judge I would like the 6" Raging Judge.

cheers,

G

I ordered it through P&D!

I have read up on them, I also own a Taurus 9mm pistol and am happy with it. There have been some issues, but many people speak very highly of theirs and report the Raging Bull model as reliable and good value. I'll take it to the range when I get it and provide feedback on it!

You'll be happy with it, my RB is one of my favorite guns and is also the most accurate. The RB is Taurus' flagship model and therefore it has a higher QC standard compared to their other revolvers.

I have the 608 .357 revolver. Really good gun, except I have the cylinder lock-up issue. I'm going to have to take it to a gunsmith at some point, I guess.

I rarely hear of issues with the Raging line of revolvers. I stay away from Taurus product in general having seen a few failures in person (especially with people trying to use them in IDPA) and hearing of lots of problems in reviews and online. With the Raging models, I've never seen one with problems personally and the most of the problems I hear about them are people avoiding them on principle of being a Taurus and second-hand, internet-echo-chamber type complaints (along the same lines of "GP-100s are designed to survive re-entry and shoot sub-MOA, but if you shoot more than a half cylinder of .357 in a 686 it shatters"). Are there some lemons out there? Absolutely. But that happens with all guns.

The Raging revolvers have a unique and super-badass aesthetic. I can definitely see what draws people to them. I don't like the double lockup, it's the only thing that kept me from buying one. But I would consider it a safe bet. They are really cool guns and make shooting .44 magnums and up pretty fun to shoot because of the weight. The red grip cushion thing also actually works (it also looks incredibly cool I think).

Hope you have done your research.....

I wouldn't touch a Taurus Revolver with a 10 foot pole after doing some reading on the issues they have.

Show me or tell me what you have heard about the raging bull, as I have heard TERRIBLE things about their other revolvers, I have not read or heard one bad thing about the raging bull, just curious what you have heard about it ? I been thinking of getting one mysel.

Since I am looking for the same thing in 8 inch, was it $730 for the SS? on the site is says "Matte stainless" Was the stainless 120 more? making it 850? Its cool if you dont want to answer that.

Big revolvers rule!
