Tavor 7 accuracy???

The T7 is not a DMR but its not as bad people make it to be. Theres plenty of review online showing consistent 2- 3in group and some people get it in the 1 moa territory, but nothing like 4 moa. Most of those review are coming from the state and all of these guys are shooting the 16.5 inch version. Once you find what ammo it like the T7 truly is a 2-2.5 moa rilfe.

Just to put you into perspective, I just sold my apc 308 because how front heavy it was. While this gun was more accurate than the tavor I had no use to it beside rest shooting, wich I rather do with my bolt action. On the other hand the T7 is a great hunting rifle. I hunt mostly in thick brush and will probably never shoot something pass 300 meters, hell not even 200 meters. The T7 while on the heavy side is well balance and excellent for shooting standing, the compact design make it easy to get into your blind and navigate brush. Yesterday I brought it to the range and was able to consitenly hit a 12x18 target at 500 meters with cheap norinco surplus, thats plenty good for me.
The irony here is, despite being more accurate, my grouping with the apc308 was worst compare to the one with a t7 while shooting standing, because of how front heavy it is.

So in the end I decided to keep the T7 over the apc308.

This is the kind of review that vindicates my choice to forgo the APC308, even though it is a magnificent rifle.

Great review! What optic are you using?

I always wanted a elcan specter 1-4. But I went with the Primary arms slx5 as a budget choice. Now im not sure I will ever go for something else. I love this optic.
