tavor a bad buy if becomes restricted?

I've given up trying to figure out what way any possible future legislation could affect us. Folks last time heard that 4" handguns were going prohib, so some got rid of them or had them re-barreled, only to find out they'd lost their 12.6 grandfathering rights. My advice is to buy what you want today, and fight like hell for it if you have to (legislatively of course) if and when the time comes. FWIW I'm picking up a Tavor on Saturday.

In all seriousness.

If you lost a Tavor in a boating accident, would you get a SCUBA certified diver to retrieve it? Surely, the current wouldn't move it around too much if it were in a river.

As an aside, if the diver found it, would he be "in possession knowing no authority" on the bottom of the lake?

I have a tactical IDF flotation vest for my Tavor to prevent this tragedy from occurring.

*be prepared*

Why am I not surprised? ;)

*not bluffing*

*always serious*

F**ck, i'm getting tired of these prohibition myths.. they just cant prohibit everything... So lets Enjoy what we have as long as we can..

BTW, My non restricted guns went to Steve at White Horse.. just had to sell it all :)

I would like a tavor to shoot around at my property.
Only downside so far seems to be the price...hello line of credit.

Anyway, It seems to be getting a lot of negative attention as of late and I'm worried that if it becomes prohibited I'm up the creek.
The whole point is I want to use it on my property.
If it becomes restricted I can't right? I would use it much less, if ever if it's restricted.

What else should I consider here? I don't really want to waste 3600.

Thanks.

Get one. You will be happy you did!

It can never be prohibited unless you let it, regardless of the law. If you know what I mean.

I sold my Tavor to some guy named Mike in Canmore, or Camrose or something like that. Or was his name Matt, Mark, Mitch? Pretty sure it was "M" something. Could have been an "N" something. Not 100% though. I cant remember. Something like that.
