Blackout flash hider. Calm down...I believe the 300BLK honour will be going to mrsmitty. Mine is just the plain jane 5.56mm.

It's a first generation, so I had to add the Dlask rail. Same with the CTAR barrel.

Not really warming up to the look of it, but I would like to try one.
Saw one at the range not too long ago and really should have asked to give it a try.
I'm 6'1" and fully extend the stock on my Noveske - how is the Tavor ergonomically for taller people?

9 pages of comments, and still no one has committed to anything re. accuracy? Lack of accuracy is my greatest concern with this rifle. I can not get the Tavor to group better than several MOA with both PMC 62 gr and Winchester white box 55 gr. For now, I blame the trigger which is unbelievably heavy. It is possible that there are other causes, but until the trigger issue is resolved, we really won't be able to diagnose additional issues.
Is anyone aware of any after market products that could help solve this trigger issue?
Second biggest concern is sight over bore height. You are looking at a hefty offset for close quarters shooting, which is odd for a system that was purportedly designed for close quarters. The trigger problem also impacts close quarters shooting. There is no way that it can be manipulated as quickly as a tuned AR (or even an untuned AR), so shooting will be slower at close quarters.
Otherwise, I am quite impressed with the rifle. Ergonomics are fantastic, so I don't understand that criticism. It requires a completely different set of handing drills vice the AR, but the ergonomics are very well thought out.
I have never fired a Tavor but I have shouldered one at TSE. I found the LOP too short and would have liked a couple of extra inches on the stock.
One more thing: the Tavor is going to be released in the US sometime this fall. In short order there should be a deluge of aftermarket add-ons available. Hopefully a new trigger package is chief amongst these.
Has anybody else figured out that you can remove the knob in the handgrip and theres storage there?
I put my AA batteries in there for my eotech.
