Tavor factory rail + ADM Recon = fail

Update to my last post - tried another ADM rail, no go on the Tavor. So I returned it and bought a 1-4 Elcan DR. The Elcan fit wonderfully.....as did my Aimpoint, Eotech, and a Larue mount I borrowed to test. The ADM fit my SR-22, my NEA railed CZ, and my buddies LMT....so the fit of the ADM is tighter tolerance than the others I guess.

Who knew.

(gave me an excuse to buy an Elcan....lol)

The bottom one is exactly what I need. When? where? And how much?

You & Me BOTH Speckfire!!!

Now, my question would be... What ARMS quick release rings & scope combination would work? My Tavor is for hunting & some range time... So I'm looking to replace the Mepro21 with a scope, NOT a red dot... Worried about eye relief here...

Thoughts???

Cheers & Thanks in Advance
Jay

I have shot a cpl of Tavors in the last months. Both had longer rails than the ones depicted in here. In small talk around their guns the owners expressed their wish to upgrade to this kind that Lector made. So what is the reason why?/
Lector, can you give me some insight? The rail you designed is shorter. Why do you think it would be better that way?

With that length you can still flip up the front BUIS.

AFAIK the NEA Tavor rail is the only long rail that allows use of the front BUIS. It's slotted at the front so you can flip it up.

Tell them "thank you" for the credit,
but I don't deserve it, as I didn't make the rail.

This thread is almost a year old.
At that time, I wanted to help the Tavor owners
who were complaining of such and such (see the OP).
The rail in my pics was made in limited numbers and for a limited time.
Today, there are other options on the market.
I don't know what kind of rails your friends have on their guns,
but please tell them to see the sponsoring dealers and manufacturers
of this site, who I am sure they will offer better options than
the rail in my pics.

Regards
