Tavor FAQ (updated 08 December, 2008)

At the range today I noticed that the Press Check Ventures PCV-50 beowolf magazines don't feed consistently in my Tavor unless loaded to an odd number of rounds. My range has a "10 round max" policy and I was having issues with the plastic mags until I tried running odd numbers of cartridges. Take this info for what it's worth.
 
THE PVC mags are not that great. Lots of problems.. Get some Beowulf metal mags or ATRS pistol mags...

I have over 2K rounds thru my 4 ATRS mags and they are still going strong...

Finally have 2 IWI US QD sockets on the way, Cant wait to MOD the tavor and install them

Will use a drill press and make the hole bigger so the QD can fit. will end up with a flush QD mount in the rear.

Im not a big fan of the single point sling, and the port cover QD mount is to far forward for my liking.

Will look like a US model when Im done ...
 
Hey guys. New to the forum and own a Tavor.

Just curious how many Tavors you think are owned in Canada?

As far as I know, IWI has sold about 20k in the US if not more.
 
Just interested in what the market is like here. Obviously there will be no official stats since the registry is gone, but when it was around, there werent that many registered. Sheer curiosity.
