Here's mine pretty much finished. Unfortunately it might end up on the EE soon since I just lost my job. Only other plans for it was a paint job and a muzzle device.
Geissele Lightning Bow
Manticore Buttpad
Gerahead Works Handguard
Surefire M600 Ultra
Gearhead Works Flex
Elcan Specter DR
Modified Magpul MSA

2014 TAVOR FDE

This is my Tavor. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

The round count is well north of 2500 and I haven't had an issue since I threw away the POS magazine that came with it.

I had to modify the Fenix a bit for it to sit tight in the TMF, but a couple wraps of electrical tape was all that was needed. I found a piece of mylar heat shield on the job one day and I ended up trimming it and installing it between the barrel and the Fenix.

To be honest, my install of the pressure pad felt a bit "Bubba" as I couldn't source the appropriate hardware and was forced to employ zip-ties and heat shrink... but then some real deal, genuine "high speed/low drag" EPS friends of mine put it through it paces and told me that I had nothing to worry about.

The manual of arms was the hardest part of adjusting to this platform, but after 2500+ rounds, it's second nature to me now.

This is such a rugged, accurate and FUN rifle to shoot that it is always sitting in the back of whatever I'm driving in its tan Pelican 1700 case.

I mainly run PMAGS, but have an eclectic collection of mags that feed my Federal 55gr FMJ all day long with zero hiccups. Once again, I may add - the magazine that came with it was absolute garbage. It would have been better to come without a magazine rather than have that piece of crap thrown in.

I will continue to advocate to my friends and anyone in earshot concerning the pleasantries of this rifle... once the rather steep entry level price has been breached, of course.

Thanks for stopping and checking my rifle out... as always; I look forward to feedback and suggestions for wringing the absolute most that I can get out of this platform.

New M-Lok Hand Guard

The new 'Rambones' M-Lok Extended hand guard arrived. The fit is nice and tight. Feels much improved with the extra length, and is perfectly sized to clear the fake suppressor. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Rambones.

Just got my handguard yesterday, fit and finish is perfect. A lot more room for accessories without looking boxy like some of the other extended handguards out there.
Thanks Ramy!

Hopin some tavor experts can help me out. Im concerned about the longevity of the mepro m21 on my first generation tavor. Its a fantastic rifle but i worry should something happen to the sight it would be difficult to replace, so i pulled the barrel and took some pictures. The rail looks similar to a 1913 rail and it looks like a regular m21. I can take more pictures if anybody would like but Im curious if something happens could i replace it with any other m21? The most accurate tool of measurement at my disposal right now is a tape measure which is telling me the rail width is the same. Thanks

Is there a way to tell it's 2.5 and not 2 ver? I understand that trigger pack, piston and bolt carrier buffer spring designs are different, but is there a visual way to tell?
