Heads up, that Gear Head Works rail won't fit an original IDF model. It's designed to screw down with two allen keys onto the current flattop setup.

Bizarre, the ad sure made it seem that way. Nonetheless CanAm still sells the flat top for an IDF model so I ended up ordering one of those. All I need now is a qd adaptor for the m21 otherwise she becomes a lovely paperweight

Actually GHW does make a rail called the IDF 101 that mounts direct to the barrel the same as the factory IDF Metro does.

You will also need a new gas piston tube depending on rail length

The raised rail definitely comes in handy when I mount the Elcan. It's just a tad too low on the regular rail.

Would you post a pic of your Tavor inside the Incog bag with the cover open? I'm curious how tight it is to the top of the Elcan and the bottom podium. Thanks.
