Very nice setup man, a little jealous. I've done the 1-4x optic on mine and for now have settled on a Eotech with magnifier but my goal is definetly a Elcan. Glad you like it and money well spent for sure.

Yes TVPP is right its a Juggerbrake. And I did snag two off the EE, he might still have a couple left.
 
great thread, I have now read it from start to finish, I have one of these on the way, and was curious about some of the issues that were discussed earlier such as some mags having problems with jamming and tavor mark, do the newer models have these issues fixed? I take it the problem with the Lar-15 mags and other plastic mags was an issue with the mag itself, and loading 9 rounds rather than 10 in the case of the LAR-15, or 4/5 on other mags will fix it? I read about these when the Tavor first came out, but do not see any recent reports of these issues.

Either way I am really looking forward to getting out with my new toy once it arrives.

I meant when you rack the charging handle multiple times, it begins to smell. Have you had this before?

Sorry for noobie question but can you shoot 5.56 ammo threw this rifle since its a "military" rifle. And anyone know where I can get another bolt for it and also other parts ?

The chamber is cut for 5.56; it's labelled as .223 for civilian sales. AFAIK, North Sylvia is the best spot for parts.

I think that if the suppressors were real and we were all allowed to use them, we and the rest of the public would be much better off...

And welcome to the IWI "club"...I will be posting some pics in one of the picture threads once I find some 1/2 size N batteries.

if its a new tavor its most likely some kind of shipping greas. my tavor smelled weird as well befor i shot and cleaned it a few times. now it smells like the rest of me guns...AWSOME! LOL. hope it helps.

i think its in this thread already some were but just get a large allen key and grind it down to the right shape. works great.
