I just don't understand how people can be so stupid. Do any of the anti gun idiots really think that banning or taking firearms away from law abiding gun owners is going to do anything about the criminals possessing firearms?
Criminals already have guns and they are already breaking the law by having them. They aren't going to turn them in which leaves the police in the same spot they are in now.
Police and criminals will always have guns no matter what laws they pass to take them away from the rest of us.
Look at the rest of the world and see if bans have ever made any difference at all in reducing crime. Most places it makes it worse.

TVPP - if change your forum post-per-page settings you could cut it down to 4 pages instead of 8 and make this look like half of the mess it turned into.

The real reason they want to prohib the Tavor is outside pressure from the United Alien Council. The Tavor is a threat To all space dwellers as it possesses the ability to shoot into space.

It's disgusting when people try to "help" one group of people by demonizing another group of people. Aren't we past that already as a nation? Antis think this is acceptable because they are banning a "thing" without understanding what this "thing" means to a group of people.

Canada needs to become more sophisticated in the way we think. Perhaps if we buy all the First Nation leaders who are licensed gun owners a Tavor, the RCMP will be less bullheaded about this injustice; but if this worked as a tactic - what does that say about us as a society?

Why would they be worried? The bullets might make it to space but the accuracy of the Tavor is so bad you could never hit anything. What would that make it? About a 15 Km 5 shot group? Probably only be able to hit the moon 2 out of 5 shots. ;)
 
Not sure how credible your source is, but seriously would anyone really be surprised if this happened to the tavor? Seems like a pretty easy target for them to me.......just sayin

The only leg they would have to stand on is the fact there is a full auto military version but to be non restricted now it must not be able to have the parts from the military version swapped in to make it full auto.
There is nothing illegal about bullpups and it meets the barrel and overall length requirements so unless idiots start swapping out the barrels to restricted length ones and getting caught with them unregistered then there shouldn't be much risk.
But like you and others have said, it wouldn't surprise me either and I wouldn't put it past them.

the did it with the san and 858 a while ago, now some TNW 50's are prohib too, easy to do when the law is so poorly written
