Tavor TAR-21 Aftermarket Optics and Accessories?

I heard good things about them. They recieved top marks after "cast lead". Quite the reliable optic, just about undestructable. The problem with the M21 is the reticle and the washing out. Both of these problems are non-existant with the Mars.

I've heard some bad reports but everyone has their opinion and mine should be taken as such. Ultimately I don't see the Mars as being worth what they want to sell it for. Not a slight against CANAM, the manufacturer wants too much.

The M21 mount will work on a 1912 rail as it comes, just a bit high.

Now I'm confused:redface:

I thought that the M-21 as it comes on the rifle (without the $300 optional rail) cannot be installed on any other rail. I was also under the impression that it had it's own funky-spec'd rail. Now you're telling me that I can take the M-21 off and reinstall it on the RT rail you shipped me?

Paul over at CanAm had graciously offered to mount the rail to my rifle before shipping it out. I told him I'd rather not because than I would be stuck without optics until I purchased either an adapter base for the M-21 or some other rail-compatible optic. He agreed.

Is it possible he misunderstood me? If so, then how the heck do you take the M-21 off've the OEM rail?

Talk about reviving an old thread LOL.

I recently mounted the RT rail on my Tavor along with a newly-acquired Spectre. Feels comfy enuf, but I'm disappointed that I can't clearly make out the numbers'n doodads on the bottom left of the viewer. Man, those numbers are miniscule...

As far as the bullseye reticle being fuzzy, I found a sure-fire cure for that; Try flipping up the rear peep sight. That bullseye become crystal-clear. A moot point for me now that I have a non-sighted gas block and the Spectre, I'm just mentioning it in case anyone else is in need of a simple fix. ;)
