Tavor vs xcr.

Frontier firearms had them as well. I almost ordered online but I needed to go feel and touch before I could commit. So I found a shop in Toronto that had them.

And all kidding a side a women was stabbed and killed literally across the street right in broad daylight in the street. It happened right before I got there. Really scary. Knives should be restricted they kill people...

I personally think you're choosing between the two best non restricted black rifle options out there right now, and you'll almost certainly be happy with whichever you choose.
how did you come to that conclusion? I would say Swiss arms and HK two be the two best, but that is strictly from a quality and accuracy standpoint

7 MOA? I have personally witnessed a friend and shooting partner tag a 3/4" 4 shot group @ 100 yards. I have never gotten that kind of accuracy out of mine, nor have I really tried. I use it as it's intended to be used, so it's rarely ever benched. I personally don't think i'm capable of pulling a group off like that, not with a red dot anyway.

Just get both, spare yourself the decision making. :)

There are some people who feel like a construction crane when pointing an XCR.

Yup I can agree with that statement, and if Canadian firearm laws weren't down right ridiculous it wouldn't need to feel that way.

Here is what it came down to for me. I wanted a bullpup, but I could not even afford the used prices of the Tavor. I bought a used XCR for a good price and find it is a great rifle minus the bolt catch issue. That being said I am also getting the Norinco bullpup to see which one I would rather keep, and sell the one I like the least. For me, the way Canadian gun laws are, bullpups will always be preferred for their compactness.

Just my .02c

EDIT: I see you went for the XCR! Good choice! Enjoy!

that is really horrible, either something wrong with the gun or shooter IMO

these groups where shot at 50 yards using a vortex sparc, prone, bagged, yadda yadda, i'd imagine the shooter had a bit to do with it, i'm not used to a 13lb gritty trigger pull, but i was really bearing down shooting these groups, but like i said, i probably had a lemon because it seems this is not the norm, maybe my trigger was extra ####ty??

My Tavor is by far my favorite firearm. It just feels right when I put it to my shoulder. I can keep it pointed at a target with one arm comfortably. Also if the IDF use it its good enough for me!

Boys where can I get the banana magazines for the xcr? Either I'm crazy or no one has them? I've been looking through sponsors site and can't seem to find them.

WTF is a "Banana" magazine??? The XCR takes AR mags and LAR mags and you can get them anywhere.

The 30 clip magazine. I can't seem to find any site that carries them? I must not be searching correctly.

Yes I know 30 clip not legal it's pinned at 5.

Have shot both and own a first shipment Tavor. Personally I prefer the Tavor, but there's nothing wrong with the XCR. Probably one in my future, I like the calibre range thats available and the ease of the change. The Tavor is rock solid reliability wise, it shoots easily from any position prone, urban prone, fetal prone, standing, sitting kneeling, off a support what ever the thing is designed for combat man. The trigger is a bit heavier but it's very consistent and easy to get use to. (hoping that now the Americans can get them maybe Geissele will come up with some trigger magic)

I've checked every site. So either there's a special corner somewhere behind the cans of beans. Or they only exist in the plethora of cgn members pictures. Where are guys finding these?

Wolverine just go a ####e load in. You should even be able to grab the ten rounders fer your xcr ( have one also in black and 7.62) and besides my bolt catch not making it a whole shooting day it was pretty darn great! Congrats buddy, and my two sense is just cuz the military uses it doesnt mean it works best, and Im in the mob now so all in all kick ass, enjoy and brag.

had both, sold both... only one I regret selling is the Tavor. The end. ;)

Our local gun shop got a couple of Tavors, the first one went as fast as it could be put out, the second one I got to hold and check out...... and know what, I could not let it go..........Bought it on the spot! I could not believe my own words "Ill take it". It is the weirdest looking rifle I own and handles like nothing I have ever felt!

Tommycanada, you should get your Tavor back brother!

Not the only one who seems to have large groups with the Tavor, since Nutfancy review reported same issue of large groups. I was thinking of getting a Tavor but after reading about the group sizes that people are getting, it does not seem to be a very cost effective way to go!
