Tavor vs xcr.

My only complaint was with the stock too but not cause it rattled that is fine was a little to short fully extended for my liking but that was a easy fix with a dlask and a new stock but I like to customize my guns to my preference so I probably woulda done that regardless that's another reason I like the xcr it is really easy to make it your own gun setup to your preferences
 
It was a great day at the range - not just weather wise, but also because two guys had Tavors, and one of them also had an XCR-L in .223. Got to try out both... I only shot about 5-10 rounds in each, but I think I like the XCR-L better. Time to start saving my pennies ;)
 
There are plenty of guns that aren't used in battle that are great guns. I really don't care if a some random countries police or military uses a weapon. To me the only time that would influence my choice would be if it was one of the leading militaries in the world and they are using that platform, ie. Britain, USA, Canada etc. I don't care if Guatamala or Ethiopia are using Tavors.

Well the IDF is a pretty damn serious military with some of the toughest badasses around fighting the toughest badasses around!
The Tavor-21 saw live action with the Golani brigade and the Givati brigade and is in use by all IDF regular forces.
I dunno that sounds like a pretty damn good voucher for a firearm.
 
No for sure, all I'm saying is that not many rifles ever see real battle time, compared to the amount of guns made. Also, most of the countries that use Tavors specifically, don't have very many of them and only a few hundred to a couple thousand are used in service. Im not saying the Tavor isn't a good rifle, all I'm saying is that just because the XCR isn't used in battle doesn't make it a good rifle.
 
I REALLY wanted to like the XCR, I really did. It's a decent gun, and had good controls, but in it's NR configuration, it's too front heavy, and does not handle well. I think the same thing of the Classic Green/Black's.
 
I lean toward the TAVOR, slick design, fit me perfect, but then it depend on how it would fit an individual, but if turn both Both fit perfect to an Individual, then Get both, but again I lean toward the TAVOR.
 
Oh come now, don't be small mind about it, I am sure he made the right decision , and hope that he does, because is better to get a rifle and keep it then try to sell it on EE at a couple of hundreds off, but either way we all win, because for me to get another brand new rifle, at a full price plus tax, I rather get it use on here tax in and shipping included!
 
I think there are some very weak people (physically) who cannot even carry a 9 lbs gun at their local range. If the XCR is too heavy, my advice would be to hit the gym. If you are a string bean guy then the tavor will be fine for you.
