OK, so we finally get one heck of a cool black rifle in Canada and guess what??? Nobody posts anything about it! All I see on this Forum is AR threads.....what the heck?:runaway: Posts were running hot there for a while and now there's hardly anything. The same thing in the red rifle section and the Type 97 (I try my best to post but I'm only one guy) all you see is SKS and VZ 58 bather...what gives?

There has to be some cool Tavor mods going on out there, range reviews, something??? One can only stand so many AR threads.....:D

ummm....I held one for the first time the other day. Does that count? Even if it was just in the store?

If I had 3k laying around it'd be in my safe now, I found it fit me well.

Because you can buy a decked our AR and ammo for the price of the Tavor.
Hell, you can buy an AR, a VZ 58 and a SKS for that price.
Same reason there aren't too many Porsche reviews on car sites, more people own rice burners and domestics...

La LA La LA...I can't hear you...I want more TAVOR. I want to live vicariously through others....For jebus sakes, if someone can spend 3 g's on a rifle it's the least they could do to post some pics.....it should be a mandatory requirement of owning the rifle.

i would love to see some more pics and what everyone has done for new sights. I'm seriously thinking of putting my order in.

Anyone know what the deal with the "upgrade" is?? I sure hope it's the addition of a picatinny rail, get rid of the garbage optics and give us a price break instead.

I don't think a lot of people actually recieved the Tavor yet, I gave up a while back on it since I had plans for it in the spring/summer. It is fall & still waiting?? nah I'll pass.

I sold mine because the optics weren't for me

You shouldn't have given up so quickly.

Pounds the gong at 200 meters 50% of the time (relatively rapid firing - 2.5 shots per second) from standing off hand. Leupold 1-4x. Great up to 300m, but usable at CQB ranges with both eyes open.

How did you get the rail? Canada Ammo states the rail is not in Canada yet.

I found the sights, the trigger wasn't for me so I sold mine. I also like to be able to take my gun apart for thorough cleaning and with the Tavor there's screws and such to get to the op rod.

I bought a 14" Swissarms carbine to keep my 17" and 20" Swissarms company after selling the TAVOR.

The Tavor is very well balanced and the short length makes it VERY maneuverable.

If the Tavor sold without the optics and just a rail (so around the $2000 mark or so) I would have seriously considered buying one. I just have a problem paying extra for optics that I don't want. It's a nice rifle and I'm glad they brought them in. They just need to come stock with a rail and no optics.

A "varmint" version would have me all over it. Accurate barrel, rail for optics.
