Taylors and Co 9mm 357 Revolving Carbines Back in Stock

You don’t shoulder them. Butt is made to hook into your arm. Next time you have one try it and you will see it fits well. Originals where shot from horse back with one hand and butts where made to lock into your arm securing it.
I know the theory - I have an original 1885 and a repro 1860 Henry with them. I find it very awkward to rest it on my upper arm and then get my neck down on the stock to aim. Having a stiff neck doesn't help much, I imagine. I'd still much prefer a carbine or shotgun butt that goes right on the shoulder

Was a thread awhile ago about someone making a but stock that had a regular pad and higher comb. I couldn’t find it.
