This is like finding out a hot chic is ### after you sit through a crappy movie with her... 10 rd VZ or 1 rd AK? Being FA and full cap mag deprived I don't think I'll be getting one.
 
Everybody jumping up and down because they don't think it's the AK they thought they were going to get, kind of sad.

I for one find this an interesting development around the classification of rifles.
 
Normally I take a "if it floats your boat go for it" stance. In this case wow, what a total disappointment. I hope to hell we never let the anti's gain ground and force us to have this type of crap here rather than a proper semi auto. I feel like I just got handed the keys to a Ferrari that turned out to be a Fiero.

this bolt action rifle is just the start of a few years worth of waiting, in my opinion.
 
Bolt action AK? hmm... I will stick with my CZ 455 .22lr. I like AK, but not so much that I would buy a bolt action AK. An AK poster on my wall is better than this! Lets hope there is really a semi auto version down the road, then I might be interested.

Canadians are fickle and this thing and whole idea of a product line is as good as dead.

So, does anyone have more technical details of the rifle? Is the gas system just cosmetics or does it do anything? If it is cosmetic, what does the rifle look like without it.

Nevertheless, I'd like the chance to get my hands on one and take it apart. I can see the appeal of having a lookalike, but at the same time I'm wondering if they should have diverted that effort to more functional features.

I know converting to full auto is bad. But what about converting to semi auto?
 
My opinion: This is what happens when you don't listen to the community and take a chance on something you think is a good idea.
Almost 10 years a member, witnessing all flavors of fail on CGN, this one takes the cake.
 
hope they didnt invest a lot of money in this because they are not going to sell anyone who wants a ak style rifle doesnt want a bolt action

I for one find you to be a big douche my good sir. Why would we think it would be a bolt action? It's has a freakin gas tube man of course we all thought it was semi. Get your head outta your a$$
