makes me wonder. if the good lord and also luck was involved......what did the deer do to deserve this kind of luck and the good lord putting him there? Must have been a nasty person in a previous life....
well, she's about 6 inches taller to begin with, and then when she wears those prolly 6 inch spike heels, it's away out of place! She dwarfs him badly!
I'm 6'5" and my wife is 4'11 3/4", maybe we shoud trade...

So when they are nose to nose his toes is in, and when they are toes to toes his nose is in?

I see your point! That is another way of looking at it!
Crap two-dogs your christian? the meat you hunt could be... hmmm interesting.
How about this spin all creations are controlled by God and things only happen by his allowance. So by your family quickly killing this Animal you saved it from a harsher trial. i.e torn apart by wolves, starvation etc
There is apparent good and apparent bad, it takes work to see the inverse when only one is present. Maybe through the meat of this deer someone will donate money to a conservation effort and more deer will have better lives.
We can only see the apparent and we can only guess at the things that may happen because of our actions. So yes dying does suck, to an extent, but their are worse ways to goand at least we benefit from the animal...
And look whut happened to yer feet..........

well well well, my oldest Jr does it again! At 9:27 AM this morning, his American Compact 7mm-08 rang out! Once again a head shot did not present itself so a vitals hit it had to be. It clipped the heart (sadly my best Pals won't get this one). It went about 20 yards and down it went. It was one hulofa long pull back to the vehicle. Thank God the brush was not bad this time. Smaller tines than the last one but lots of good meat on this one. Buddy from out of town will take this one home if he doesn't get one before he goes home on Monday afternoon. It's plenty cool enough now, so we'll skin it shortly and let it hang until Mon morning. Pics to follow as soon as possible. We saw 2 does on the way home, they posed for the cell ph camera forever. That's my Wilbert (lil Willy) looking to see if there is more stuffed inside the back hatch!

Congrats two dogs.... Never considered black powder season?....
I turned 40 before this season and it challenged me to do things differently...... I am very pleased I did.... Harvested two so far and am heading out for black powder season in an attempt for #3.... Had to buy an extra freezer to accommodate it all.... My best yet... And been doing this for 24 years now....
Greatly appreciated your posts this year during the season... Along with others .... Enjoy!
