Ok. 1871/84 bolt action tube magazine fed german infantry rifle in 11 x 60mm Mauser or .43 Mauser. Danzig was a german port city, which reverted to Poland post-WWI and now is Gdansk. Can't say on it's condition, no picts.

Value depends on condition. I've seen them go anywhere from $200 to $600.

If you intend on keeping it and wanting to shoot it, prepare to handload -- and brass is expensive and relatively hard to find. New stuff is made by Bertram in Australia and I haven't seen any from them in years. You can get lucky and find old Dominion brass to load but God only knows how many times they've been used. Cast bullets are relatively easy to find.

OP, no one can give you the information you desire if you don't include a lot more information.

I see you like to buy but don't like to post.

These 71/84s are not particularly rare. The fact that CIL Dominion manufactured 11mm Mauser ammunition is an indicator of how many were in Canada.
Condition is the primary factor in driving value. One in fine condition with a sharp bore would command a premium. The receiver should be in the white, the barrel blue. Most tend to be brown or grey.
One that has been sported might be of interest if its bore is shootable, but won't be worth a lot.
Note that the 71/84 does not have antique status. It is a non-restricted firearm.

Yeah, I remember I lived in a tiny village on the BC coast growing up and in the general store they had that ammunition (43 Mauser) for sale along with 6.5x54 MS, 9mm Luger and 455 Colt, so somebody in town must have requested it be brought in. A friend's dad had one but I never saw it off the rack.
