I'll have to get mine dialed at 300 and see what it will do, I have been shooting it at 500 with the sling and irons only the last while to see what it groups like at that range .

Well done!
I am a BIG fan of the Omark M44's, although they all have rails on them I only shoot them with sling 'n'irons unlless working up an untried load!
I should break them out for this however.

I was shooting yesterday at 300 m to see how much actual drop I had with a 100 m zero on a new load.

Overcast, 22c, 15 km/h around 6 o'clock.
223 Rem., Hornady 52 HPBT/26.3gr CFE223.
Remington 783.
Bench, Bi-pod and Bag.
300 meters.

2.456"

Just about missed the target, went the wrong way when I adjusted the windage after checking the zero.

Here's the Polish Wannabe, taken last week...I'm not claiming to be Polish, a Polish friend accused me of trying to be after shooting a 0.376" 5 shot 100m group with it.
