As some of you are aware ther was a "bit" of drama on the return trip from Saskatchewan this year.......Long story short albertacoyotecallers travel trailer burnt to the ground and he lost everything in it.

Although it was bad enough seeing Greg lose his gear what was the hardest for me was seeing the look on his son Dominic's face when he realized he had lost his first gun to the fire. I have to admit that the smoke must have got in my eyes watching the little guy.

Now here comes the best part about the people on CGN and shooters in general......
After a couple of quick PM's back and forth between a few of the guys who attended the Gopher Shoot we decided to replace the gun Dominic lost.

I had the pleasure of presenting it to Dominic at the BC IDPA Provincials this past weekend in Terrace. once again there must have been smoke in the air becaus as I told the story and explained about the great guys involved my eyes might have got a little watery.....

I was going to list the guy's involved but you already know who you are .
Thanks for helping out with the "PROJECT".

A little spit and elbow grease and that burnt gun will be good as new.

However it is nice to see that there are still nice people in the world.

I hadn't heard about this 'till know, good on you guys! I'm sure he'll always remember it and someday pay it forward.

What started the fire?

Well done Dave. I'm glad the little guy is happy again and I hope to see you all out again next year. By the way, Dave is going to be sharpening chainsaw teeth if anyone is interested. Might be worth coming out. ;)

I should also add I'm extremely proud to associate myself with this group of individuals. Anti's can say what they want, but there is no better group of people than these folks. Everyone there was fantastic to be around and I'm proud to call them my friends. Thanks Dave for putting this together and thanks to everyone for showing their support. :)

Thanks for putting this together Dave, you can always replace objects, but it's the memories that last and you just gave the young lad one that will last a lifetime:)

Too cool! Nice pics. Nice job fellows. I hope he gets to enjoy it for a long time. Make a cool story for him to tell HIS kids someday. :D

Okay guys....everybody pony up to get Dad a new trailer! ;) LOL!!!

I just want to add that the pics were taken by Chris Di Armani, editor of the NFA's "Tactical Journal". You would not believe the positive response we have gotten from this small gesture. HMMMMM and all these years I thought I was a small child eating Ogre......lol
