some good groups left in this barrel! Here's a 5 shot group at 100m with Hornady 80gr ELDm / RL26 @ 0.37moa

The time has come! First heard from On The Horizon podcast, Seth Swerczek and Jadyn Quinlan from Hornady announce that the 22 Creedmoor is becoming a SAAMI-approved round! Hornady will be manufacturing 22 Creedmoor ammunition and has partnered with Horizon Firearms (and sister company Texas Ammunition) for exclusive distribution rights. Derrick, Seth and Jadyn discuss all the specifications of the 22 Creedmoor cartridge that Hornady will be producing along with how and when to get it.

100 % agree 1-7 for any bullets over 80 grs would be the Best . JMO RJ

Yup, definitely 7-twist IMO. That opens the door to some pretty crazy designs like the 90gr VLD. Glad they finished the SAAMI approval process.

These are my current big case 22's. Hmm won't let me post a picture. Anyway, until I get the pic sorted, they are a 22-250 AI, a 22-243 Middlestead, and a 224 Clarke. Barrel twists are 1-12, 1-14 and 1-10. Used to run a couple of CHeetahs, Mk 1 and 2. Preferred the middlestead. But they are all awesome long range coyote guns. - dan

Fur damage is all to do with the BULLET used mostly - NOT the Caliber or cartridge . AND I've really never found a bullet that is LEGAL to use that doe's not make a Big exit hole YET ! RJ

Pretty good, I went with RL26 and the load is around 3650 fps and groups are small enough. I don't have my notes handy on specific group sizes etc

It's been a good rifle, have around 800 rounds down it at this point. Lately I have been playing with 88gr ELDm over H1000 and Ramshot Grand. I also loaded some 40gr Nosler BT over Hodgdon Superformance, just to see what would happen. 3970 fps and 5 shots inside an inch at 100M, I am going to load some more up with a bit more powder next time
